The new ferry terminal is one and a half times wider and 4 km from Got wharf, located in Dong Bai commune, next to Cat Hai – Phu Long cable car station, the water surface of the new wharf is more than 2.1 hectares, the road to the wharf is 1.8 hectares. . The waiting area is more than 830 m2 wide, the roof system is about 1,400 m2. Currently the basic items are completed. The new ferry terminal has a bow berth more than 30 meters wide, able to accommodate two large ferries docking at the same time, and is designed to not be affected by the tides. The new ferry terminal will solve the problem of congestion during peak season that has existed for many years at Got ferry terminal. In the immediate future, Hai Phong Waterway Traffic Assurance Joint Stock Company will move the old ferries operating at Got wharf to the new wharf and research hiring more vehicles to ensure transport capacity during peak times. In addition, a business will build at least 5 new modern, high-speed ferries with a capacity of about 15 cars and hundreds of passengers to improve the operating capacity of the new ferry terminal. Dong Bai ferry terminal also has a waiting room of more than 834 m2 and a roof system of about 1400 m2. The Got ferry area will be reclaimed and cleared to serve the project to build the Hai Phong international gateway port industrial park.
